Fifa 11 Ultimate Team Good But Cheap Players Part 2

This is the second installment of the 3 part series that I am creating on good but cheap players for ultimate team. This Hub will discuss midfielders from several different leagues who I rate but are cheap.

1. Yaya Toure - This CDM is a great holding midfielders. When I play with him I usually play him quite defensively and use him to pass the ball around and find deadly through balls. However, he is just as effective as a CAM as he has a rocket of a shot. He plays for Manchester City in the Premier League.

2. Malouda - This French LM for Chelsea is a great addition to any Premier League team or French side. When using him he has brilliant pace and can use great skill to trick the opposition. Malouda is also very capable at crossing the ball and his shot should not be underestimated as his finesse shots have great curl.

3. Sam - Some people will look at this player and say they have never heard of him. Well I hadn't until I picked him up for 350 coins as a LW for my Bundesliga squad. Well to me he is an outstanding buy, he is only an 76 but he is great. When I use him I use his great skill and speed to manouvre around the opposition. His shots are not excellent but as a LW he is great for getting the ball to strikers.

4. Bastos - Another LM is Bastos who plays in the Ligue 1 and is a brilliant player for any French squad. This is because he is: fast, good at skill, powerful shooter and a great crosser. All of these reasons mean that he excels at the LM position.

5. Pedro Leon - He is a RM for Real Madrid and some people think he cost several grand because of his squad. Instead he cost a mere 800 coins and is a great buy. This is becuase like Bastos he is the ideal winger because of his speed, agility, skill and pass accuracy. This means when he plays with a very strong aerial striker such as Crouch then he is the perfect addition because of his passing skills.

6. Valencia - This RM plays for Manchester United and due to his injury this season he is not rated very highly. However, on ultimate team he is good winger who is cheap and a nice addition to any Premier League squad.

7. Affelay - A CM for Barcelona who for me is very good at passing around and is great at doing deadly balls to key players. Because of this he plays well as a lone CM as he is well rounded at passing and shooting which is key for CM's.

8. Guily - A RM for Paris Saint Germain in the Ligue 1. He is a short winger, which means he is capable of bursting past defenders and ripping through even the best defenses. When using skill combinations his effectiveness is increased, as his height with skill means he is great for using skill to doge defenders.

9. Ballack - CM for Bayer Leverkusen who once played for Chelsea. He is very strong and plays a lot like Michael Essien as he is a holding midfielder who is very strong and capable of holding the ball well and stopping attackers on the break. He is also good at doing lofted through balls to break open defenses.

10. Gaitan - LM for Benfica in the Portuguese League. This midfielder was a key part in my old Portugese squad and his inform is even better. But his original card is very good and can be picked up for well below 1000 coins. When using him he is great for doing finesse shots and curling the ball into the net. If you receive a free-kick feel free to use him as his technical ability is good.
